Director of Client Growth
Shaun joined the High Impact team in 2024 bringing 14+ years of retail merchandising and supplier sales/business development experience.
He spent 11 years at Walmart, where he began in Walmart China’s corporate finance rotation program in Shenzhen before making the ‘leap’ to merchandising at Walmart U.S. in Bentonville. Shaun progressed through key omni merchandising functions with roles in Buying, Planning, Business Analytics, and Category Management across diverse product areas, including Pets, Personal Care, OTC, Baby, Toys, and Electronics.
Shaun then made the transition to manufacturer-/supplier-side where he drove joint growth with Walmart, leading Accounts for a private brand food producer, TreeHouse Foods, and later, a branded cycling manufacturer, Pacific Cycle. There, he held responsibility for business development and account management.
Shaun’s breadth of retailer/supplier experience and emphasis on consumer-focused, data-driven decision making provided a natural segue to his role as Client Growth Director at High Impact helping brands thrive at Walmart and Sam’s Club.
Shaun obtained his undergraduate degree in Finance at the University of Texas at San Antonio and has an MBA from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.
Shaun had a somewhat unique upbringing as a global nomad (father was military/tech manufacturing) living in 17 cities across 5 countries but now calls Bentonville, AR, “home” where he resides with his wife, Amanda, and two boys, Copelin and Connor. Shaun is an avid soccer player, mountain biker, scuba diver, gamer, and traveler.
